BNN Laat niet los!

“Making BNN a ‘sticky’ experience during the festival season.”

In 2011, Dutch public broadcasting association BNN was exploring ways to increase their member base in order to gain broadcasting time.

BNN approached AtHand to create a festival concept that matches their uniqueness. So we did.

Inspired by their slogan “BNN Laat niet los!” (“BNN Will not let go!”), we developed a ‘sticky’ activation concept demonstrating their persistency and will to continue broadcasting in the center of attention.

Several fun and sticky activities were presented at five leading Dutch Festivals, where young adults could engage and sign up for a BNN membership.

A BNN Rodeo Bull, a BNN Sticky wall and a BNN Photo booth with photo stickers maximized the festival experience at the Indian Summer Festival, Mysteryland, Extrema Outdoor, Sensation en Solar.

Participants could afterwards download their photos and videos as a remembrance of their sticky day.

The results where astonishing. In addition to thousands of people engaging in the activities, increased brand awareness and a lot of traffic to the BNN website, a huge amount of young adults have signed up for BNN membership.
